What you will do
The Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator is responsible for assisting Worldwide Clinical Trials Departments and LMS Support Team in all the aspects of LMS administration and maintenance as directed by the Associate Director of Learning Management Systems. The LMS Administrator is responsible for creating course workflows and maintaining training assignments in Worldwide’s Learning Management System (LMS), providing ongoing support to the user base, and resolving LMS-related requests and issues in a timely manner.
Assist the LMS Support Team in the maintenance of the global Learning Management System (LMS)
Create learning-related activities (e.g., training modules, classes, courses, learning matrices, etc.) within the LMS for SOPs, work instructions, Job Specific, and Study Related training
Resolves LMS-related queries from the end user community
Maintains the LMS support center, including appropriate documentation, interacting with Worldwide Clinical Trial’s IT department, and the software vendor to resolve issues in a timely manner, minimizing system downtime
Assist the LMS Support Team with creating and maintaining system guidelines and FAQs to ensure consistent operation by end users
Provide support with the retrieval of training records, plans, and related documents during audits and inspection
Manage user accounts in the LMS
Assist with developing standards, processes, procedures, guidelines, and quality checks to maintain system configurations, architecture, and role-based security with consistency across activities
Resolve specific training problems, either on a one-to-one basis or in groups
Provide training-related reports to the business, using the LMS reporting functionality
Assist in training and mentoring of new team members
What you will bring to the role
Strong working knowledge of learning management systems and their principles of operation
Strong knowledge in all MS-Office applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including negotiation skills and knowledge to clearly and concisely present information.
Ability to plan, strategize, manage, monitor, schedule, critique, and problem-solve
Experience managing, monitoring, scheduling support tasks according to service level agreements in the Worldwide support center.
Demonstrate strong customer service skills
Knowledge of the CRO/pharmaceutical industry
Ability to create strong working relationships, fostering a collaborative work environment
Understanding of training concepts and methods
Ability to develop and deliver training on use of the LMS to end users
Strong attention to detail
Strong sense of ownership and responsibility
Able to work under both the direction of others and with minimal supervision
Flexible and can-do attitude to work in a changing environment
Your experience
High school diploma/GED equivalent or higher education
At least 2 years of experience working with a learning management system - Cornerstone SABA or Cornerstone Galaxy
Experience within the Pharmaceutical or CRO industry preferred
JIRA, Power BI utilization preferred
Oral and written fluency in the English language
