What the Director, Global Payroll does
The Director, Global Payroll is responsible for providing strategic vision, hands-on operational leadership and service delivery excellence through payroll operations covering 40+ countries and approximately 3,000 employees globally.
What you will do
- Develop and execute global payroll strategy and operating model that is scalability in a growing organization.
- Ensure compliance with country-specific labor statutory regulations, laws, policies and procedures as well as corporate payroll policies.
- Foster relationships and collaborate with HR, Finance, Legal, IT and country level teams on process interdependencies and internal initiatives.
- Manage all payroll vendor relationships from selection to management of service delivery.
- Drive continuous system and process improvements with measurable KPIs to become more efficient and effective in a fast-paced environment.
- Lead, coach and mentor the team of payroll professional to optimize operational excellence.
- Provide executive-level reporting and insights
What you will bring to the role
- Ability to influence at the highest levels within the organization.
- Ability to develop plans and deliver strategic initiatives within the business.
- Strong analytical skills to identify potential issues and impact.
- Project management and change management skills.
- Previous experience managing cross-cultural teams and vendor relationships on a global scale further supports effective leadership in this position.
Your experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Finance, Accounting, Business or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated leadership and management experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of global payroll experience including use of payroll systems.
- CPP certification preferred.
- Experience working in Workday, NetSuite, Blackline and with payroll vendors such as ADP, TMF and iiPay.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
- Experience working globally and cross-culturally.
- Demonstrated good judgment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including a professional and diplomatic demeanor.
- Limited travel may be required.
