Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance, Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards, Cleanroom: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc... allowed, Cold Room/Freezers -22degreesF/-6degrees C, Loud Noises (Equipment/Machinery), Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.), Standing for full shift, Strong Odors (chemical, lubricants, biological products etc.), Will work with hazardous/toxic materials, Working at heights

Rotating schedule from 7pm – 7am (10% differential for Night Shift)

Discover Impactful Work:

Under general supervision, repairs and maintains machinery and equipment such as motors, pneumatic equipment, conveyor systems and production machines. Specializes in electrical and controls automation systems. If you have prior experience in a maintenance role, we encourage you to apply for this position today.

A day in the Life:

  • Assist Sr. Maintenance technicians, when necessary, in the installation or repairs of utilities systems and equipment
  • Follow quality standards in accordance with company policy and cGMP and FDA requirements.
  • Performs small tasks associated with office or equipment relocating work orders.
  • Troubleshoot and repair production equipment promptly and thoroughly to minimize downtime
  • Complete all maintenance work in compliance with site safety procedures including lock-out-tag-out, hot work, confined spaces, etc

Keys to Success:

Education

  • High School diploma or equivalent minimally required.
  • Trades certificates/diplomas or degrees preferred but experience can be substituting in lieu of the certificates/degrees

Experience

  • 1 year of proven maintenance experience and/or combination training in the following trades: electrical, electronics/controls, mechanical, machine shop or plumbing.
  • Experience with PC applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Ability to work well with minimal direction.
  • Ability to use hand and machine shop tools. Ability to train others by technical means and by example.
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal). Ability to efficiently present information in one-on-one and small group situations and to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to address practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Demonstrates ability to develop skills, learns time management, sets goals and meets them.
