We are pleased to introduce an opening for a Sr. Manager, Research & Development, based in the United States. This is an outstanding opportunity to guide a dynamic team in West Hills, CA, specializing in antigen/antibody-based assay development and innovation. You will evaluate new technologies, improve existing products, and drive process enhancements. Your contributions will directly contribute to our mission to deliver world-class scientific solutions.
A Day in the Life
Lead and mentor a team of researchers to develop and innovate antigen/antibody-based assays.
Evaluate and implement new technologies to advance our product offerings.
Enhance and improve processes for current products to ensure flawless execution.
Collaborate across departments to determine the best strategies for research and development.
Provide technical expertise in chromatography, flow cytometry, and protein/cell-based assays.
Keys to Success
Education
Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Immunology or related discipline, with a minimum of 3 years of postdoctoral experience in the discovery and development of diagnostics or therapeutics, or Master’s level education with 8 years of experience.
Experience
Minimum 5 years of direct people management experience.
Extensive experience in the development of assays based on antigens and antibodies.
Familiarity with chromatography and flow cytometry techniques.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and process improvements.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $143,000.00–$170,000.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
