Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for machine start-ups
• Be the responder to all machine, robot, TCU and secondary equipment alarms.
• Ensure machines and robots are running at optimum efficiency
• Fix machine, mold, and material problems
• Report to Production engineer any difficulties or problems requiring special attention.
• Responsible for the accurate completion of paperwork.
• Responsible for all die change activities
• Responsible for maintaining the appearance of all TCU’s, Robot Control Stations
• Ensure accurate care of all equipment especially the managing and accurate disposal of all purgings.
• Responsible for continuous improvement (ideas and suggestions)
• Responsible to follow all OSHA and safety rules and regulations
• Other duties as requested. Follow established company policies and procedures, with a focus on safety laws. Wear personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines.
• Make required machine and equipment control adjustments to maintain accurate quality and cycle efficiency
• Support the development of Process Failure Modes and Effect Analysis (PFMEA)
Experience:
• Preferably 3-5 years of experience in the injection molding process and tooling (including tooling qualifications and fixing), or equivalent.
• Preferably experienced in process validations and adjustments through IQ, OQ & PQ.
High School Diploma or GED required.
