Responsibilities

  • Adhere to Protocols: Follow Thermo Fisher Scientific protocols, consistencies, and procedures closely to ensure detailed execution.
  • Customer Happiness: Ensure that our customer happiness objectives are met or exceeded through outstanding service.
  • Elevated Service: Deliver an extreme level of customer service to both current and potential customers, guaranteeing their requirements are fulfilled.
  • Team Collaboration: Partner closely with sales, service, and management to increase customer happiness.
  • Clear Communication: Ensure clear and effective exchange of information within the team.
  • Process Improvement: Support the Practical Process Improvement (PPI) methodology and participate in initiatives as required.
  • Training Goals: Meet all required department and company training goals and expectations.
  • Call Center Management: Lead a high substantial amount of customer calls and accurately direct callers to the appropriate company within Thermo Fisher, including other divisions.
  • Order Processing: Process telephone orders using verbal P.O. or credit card information.
  • Proficiency in Products: Always stay informed about all product differences and proficiently relay product information to clients, suppliers, and sales team members.
  • Customer Interaction: Daily interaction with customers, distributors, and sales representatives concerning sales channels, product lines, equipment, and other needs to meet contractual obligations and order fulfillment.
  • Liaison Role: Act as the liaison between the customer and internal contacts.
  • Service Levels: Meet defined goals within upper and lower control limits to ensure department service levels are achieved.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent experience needed.
  • Minimum of 1 year handling customer inquiries.
  • Proficiency in Word and Excel.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prefer candidates with 2-3 years of experience in customer service.
