Job Description
As a Biologicals Manager, you will serve as the area leader for Syngenta Biologicals within the assigned geography. This role focuses on the creation and execution of the area sales plan while achieving sales targets through strategic relationships with retailers in your assigned geography
Territory: South and East Coast
Duties:
- Responsible for the achievements of commercial KPIs of the assigned area according to budget assignments, and monthly rolling sales forecasting.
- Responsible for implementing the Go To Market strategy in the assigned area, developing an action plan and executing accordingly, while assessing the technical capability of the Sales Representatives.
- Responsible for scouting Distributors/Retailers, negotiating commercial conditions, setting yearly targets, and developing a proper action plan for the key ones, assuring the execution
- Co-own Biologicals Pillar within the Commercial Unit campaign plan. Work with the Agronomy Services Team, Technical Services and FFE&T to ensure campaign plans include an appropriate training/education plan and curriculum are implemented to up-skill the sales organization
Qualifications
- BA/BS in Ag science or BA/BS is non-Ag discipline with significant industry background
- A minimum 5 years in Sales and/or Sales Management
- Strong sense of customer focuses and demonstrates excellent sales and negotiations skills.
- Demonstrated marketing experience with campaign management and execution
- Demonstrated Leadership Experience
- Deep knowledge of the Agriculture industry at the field level
- Excellence in co-developing sales plans and implementing them with excellence
- Travel Requirements: Up to 50%
