Job Description
The Care Navigator Lead will be responsible for building and leading a team of Care Navigators who provide comprehensive support to patients and caregivers beginning treatment with a new product within Sobi’s immunology franchise. The Care Navigator Lead will play a key role in ensuring patients have access to therapy, understand their treatment, and feel supported throughout their journey.
- Leadership & Team Development
- Recruit, train, and direct a high-performing team of Care Navigators.
- Provide coaching, mentorship, and ongoing development to ensure excellence in patient support.
- Establish performance goals and metrics to measure program impact and patient satisfaction.
- Patient Education & Support
- Play a key role in developing educational programs to help patients and caregivers understand disease state and therapy.
- Ensure patient resources are clear, empathetic, and tailored to the unique needs of rare disease communities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align messaging and support tools.
- Ensure Care Managers follow Sobi requirements for reporting adverse events.
Reimbursement & Affordability Programs
- Oversee resource training in reimbursement navigation and affordability solutions to help patients access therapy.
- Ensure Care Navigators are trained to guide patients and providers through insurance processes, prior authorizations, and financial assistance programs.
- Identify barriers to access and work with internal teams to design sustainable solutions.
Program Development & Strategy
- Lead the launch of the Care Navigator model for new rheumatology therapy, ensuring it reflects Sobi’s mission and values.
- Gather insights from patients, caregivers, and providers to continuously improve support programs.
- Partner with compliance and regulatory teams to maintain program integrity.
- Ensures clear, compliant communication with field colleagues
- Develop reports providing insights into the program’s performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Business, or Health Sciences
- 10 years or equivalent experience in Patient Support Services preferred
- Product launch experience in rare disease is highly desirable
- Experience working with a variety of internal stakeholders, including field sales, marketing, trade & distribution, and market access
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Direct patient experience required.
- Demonstrated ability to use CRM systems to assist patients during enrollment, initial medication dispensing, and ongoing access
- In depth understanding of all relevant US legal, compliance, and regulatory requirements
- Strong commitment to compliance and ethical standards
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (i.e., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.)
During program launch, may require travel up to 25% then tapering to remote support.

The base salary range for this role is $148,000 – $200,000. Each individual offer will be determined based on several factors, including your experience, qualifications, and location. Additionally, this role is eligible for both short-term and long-term bonuses, as outlined in the plan details.
