About the Hiring Group

RTI Health Solutions provides scientifically rigorous research and consulting services to pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device companies. Our various practice areas include Health Economics, Value, and Access (HEVA), Patient-Centered Outcomes Assessment, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, and Health Preference Assessment, among others.


What You'll Do

RTI-HS is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented graduate student research intern who will support HEVA projects. This role will work closely with experienced health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) scientists to gain hands-on research and writing experience, with potential for opportunity to contribute to publications.

The qualified individual will primarily be assisting in performing literature reviews of existing research on specific topics, performing desktop research as directed by senior project team members, extracting data from published sources, and assisting senior team members with report writing, publication or presentation development, or other tasks as needed.


What You'll Need

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a health-related graduate program, preferably MPH, PhD, or PharmD
  • Strong academic background in a science field
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as needed
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical/biotech industry or HEOR is a plus

This position is part-time hourly (up to 15-20 hours/week). The position will be hybrid, mostly remote with some opportunities for meetings at RTI International’s headquarters in RTP, NC.
