Quality Chemical Laboratories (QCL) is a rapidly growing pharmaceutical testing and manufacturing lab in Wilmington, NC. We are seeking an experienced Metrology LC Engineer to join our team. This person will be responsible for: Performs and/or reviews qualification, performance evaluation, maintenance and service of laboratory equipment and completes documentation required by SOPs. Writes, executes and/or reviews IQ, OQ, PQ protocols for new and existing instruments and equipment. Maintains instrument records including qualification, performance evaluation, and maintenance and service documentation, including maintenance of associated databases. Coordinates qualification, performance evaluation, maintenance and service performed by metrology and outside vendors for laboratory equipment. Maintains training requirements on all necessary disciplines. Recognizes aberrant data and reports/assists manager with equipment investigations. Maintains adherence to safety standards as required by QCL SOP’s. Writes SOPs for laboratory equipment, as required. Preferred experience using Empower software. Preferred experience of maintaining High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) or Ultra Performance Liquid Chromatography (UPLC). Preferred 2-3 years of general HPLC/UPLC experience.
