What You Will Achieve
In this role, you will:
Leads and manages material purchases for assigned suppliers
Works directly with procurement and suppliers to place orders, mitigate material balance risk factors, address supplier issues and material constraints.
Oversees and issues blanket purchase orders for applicable materials.
Reviews On Time Delivery reports, Open Order reports, and other applicable reports and communicates issues to suppliers as needed.
Works with SAP Solutions Team to ensure SAP Master Data fields related to purchasing is correct and updated as needed.
Works with suppliers and accounts payable to resolve invoice issues.
Make decisions within limited options to resolve basic problems under the supervisor's direction, working in a structured environment using established procedures.
Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)
Applicant must have a Bachelor's degree with +1 years of experience; OR an Associate's degree with 4 years of experience; OR a High school diploma (or equivalent) and 6 years of relevant experience
Knowledge of Current Good Manufacturing Practices (part of GxP)
Computer skills in MS Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements):
Experience in a Food and Drug Administration regulated environment
Prior purchasing/supply chain/planning or other materials management related experience
System Application (SAP) and Products experience
Physical/Mental Requirements
Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently
Ability to adapt to changing priorities
Proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues
Non-Standard Work Schedule, Travel, or Environment Requirements
This role is standard day Monday through Friday office work shift.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $66,500.00 to $110,900.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 7.5% of the base salary.
