Mimetics uses advanced analytics deployed on transcriptional data to help biomanufacturing companies improve their production processes, to assist Agbio companies in improving microbial strains and in understanding crop plant responses to biotic and abiotic threats, and give researchers looking to elucidate the molecular basis if human circadian patterns and their disruption the tools they need.

Mimetics has been awarded a Phase II SBIR from DOE to improve our analytical tools for biofuels fermentations. We are focusing on the emerging market for biojet fuels. The intern will undertake market analyses that will give us insight into the growth prospects in this market and the key market participants we should engage with. The intern will assist in assessing the product-market fit for our services and how this can be improved.

Qualifications: Experience in market research and analysis.Some background in alternative fuel production and marketing. Excellent analytical and communication skills. 

This program is funded through the North Carolina Biotechnology Center's Industrial Internship Program. IIP internships are designed to be spring/summer internships with specific dates/hours to be determined by company needs and candidate availability.
