Labcorp is seeking an Executive Assistant to the Chief Information & Technology Officer (CITO) to join our team in Durham, NC.
Work Location: Durham, NC. This position requires onsite presence five days per week.
Work Schedule: This is a full time, non-exempt (hourly) position. Standard business hours are Monday through Friday. Business needs may occasionally require evening, after-hours, or additional support based on executive schedules, leadership meetings, and organizational priorities.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide executive-level administrative support to the Chief Information & Technology Officer (CITO).
- Manage complex executive calendars, meeting schedules, travel arrangements, expense reporting, and prioritization of executive activities.
- Coordinate the CITO's daily schedule to align with strategic initiatives, leadership engagements, and business objectives.
- Prepare executive presentations, briefing materials, reports, executive summaries, talking points, correspondence, and meeting materials.
- Coordinate executive meetings, including agenda preparation, logistics, action item tracking, and follow-up activities.
- Serve as a liaison between the CITO and senior executives, business leaders, vendors, external partners, and key stakeholders.
- Screen, prioritize, and manage executive communications to ensure timely responses and follow-through.
- Track executive deliverables, commitments, action items, and strategic initiatives.
- Support preparation for Board meetings, executive reviews, leadership meetings, conferences, town halls, and external events.
- Manage confidential and sensitive information in accordance with company policies.
- Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements, itineraries, accommodations, and logistics.
- Process executive expenses and support administrative activities related to executive operations.
- Utilize digital productivity tools, collaboration platforms, and AI-enabled technologies to improve executive workflows and efficiency.
- Maintain awareness of organizational priorities, technology initiatives, and executive objectives to proactively support the CITO.
- Anticipate executive needs, manage scheduling conflicts, and identify opportunities to improve executive effectiveness.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma with 9 or more years of experience supporting senior executives in a corporate environment; or Associate degree with 7 or more years of experience supporting senior executives in a corporate environment; or a Bachelor’s degree
- 5 or more years of experience supporting senior executives in a large corporate environment.
- 2 or more years of experience supporting C-level executives, executive vice presidents, senior vice presidents, chief information officers, chief technology officers, or equivalent executive leaders.
- 3 or more years of experience managing executive calendars, travel arrangements, meeting coordination, executive communications, and board or leadership meeting support.
- 3 or more years of experience handling confidential, proprietary, or sensitive business information.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- 2 or more years of experience utilizing collaboration and workplace productivity platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 or more years of experience supporting a Chief Information Officer, Chief Technology Officer, Chief Information & Technology Officer, or similar technology executive.
- 2 or more years of experience supporting executives within information technology, digital transformation, technology operations, or shared services organizations.
- 3 or more years of experience working in large, matrixed enterprise environments.
- 1 or more years of experience utilizing Artificial Intelligence tools or AI-enabled productivity platforms in a business environment.
- 3 or more years of experience preparing executive presentations, strategic communications, executive briefings, or board-level materials.

About the Role
The Executive Assistant to the CITO provides dedicated, high-level executive support exclusively to the Chief Information & Technology Officer (CITO). This role serves as a trusted strategic partner to the CITO, enabling executive effectiveness through proactive management of priorities, communications, scheduling, travel, and day-to-day executive operations.
The position operates with a high degree of professionalism, discretion, and independence while supporting a fast-paced and highly dynamic technology environment. The ideal candidate is exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, technically savvy, and capable of anticipating executive needs while managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
This role requires strong business acumen, outstanding communication skills, and the ability to engage effectively with senior executives, business leaders, external partners, and stakeholders across the organization. The candidate should possess a strong understanding of technology organizations, modern digital workplace tools, and emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), to help streamline executive workflows and improve operational efficiency.
