Role Overview

In this senior leadership role, you will provide oversight of CPM teams and corporate initiatives, driving productivity, quality, and on-time delivery across complex clinical programs. You will partner closely with clients and internal stakeholders to bring strategic direction, leverage therapeutic expertise, and ensure operational excellence across global teams.

You will also play a critical role in developing talent, building high-performing teams, and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of CPM managers, ensuring delivery of clinical programs on time, within budget, and to quality standards
  • Drive operational excellence through strong project oversight, risk management, and performance monitoring
  • Coach and mentor leaders on project execution, problem-solving, and strategic planning
  • Ensure alignment with global processes, tools, and best practices
  • Monitor project metrics and proactively address risks, quality issues, and resource needs
  • Partner with clients to provide guidance on clinical development strategy and delivery
  • Contribute to corporate initiatives and act as a cross-functional leader within IQVIA
  • Attract, develop, and retain top talent while supporting ongoing learning and development

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or related field
  • ~15+ years of clinical research experience, including significant leadership in global/multi-regional environments
  • Deep knowledge of clinical trials, GCP/ICH guidelines, and the clinical research landscape
  • Proven ability to lead teams, influence stakeholders, and deliver complex programs successfully
  • Strong business acumen, including project financials and performance metrics
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $125,900.00 - $394,400.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
