We are currently seeking an Epidemiologist to join our diverse and dynamic team. As an Epidemiologist at ICON, you will play a pivotal role in designing and analyzing clinical trials, interpreting complex medical data, and contributing to the advancement of innovative treatments and therapies.

What you will be doing

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to contribute to observational research throughout the product commercialization process.

  • Contribute to the development of proposals, protocols, analysis plans and other observational study documents to support the product lifecycle using real world databases.

  • Contribute to the implementation and conduct of observational studies to support the product lifecycle using real world databases.

  • Review and interpret study results and create manuscripts, reports and other deliverables summarizing the study results for a variety of audiences.

  • Conduct and summarize literature searches and reviews to support the product lifecycle.

  • Participate in initiatives to develop and improve capabilities in RWE evidence generation. ​

Your profile

  • Basic Qualifications:
    • Master’s degree in Epidemiology or other subject with high epidemiologic content
    • Experience in epidemiologic research
    • General project planning and management experience
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Doctorate in Epidemiology or other subject with high epidemiologic content
    • 3 years experience with master’s degree
    • Experience in the design, execution, and analysis of epidemiology studies within
    • Pharmaceutical or Public Health setting
    • Experience in research to support drug development
    • Experience in epidemiological project planning and management
    • Experience communicating epidemiological information (written and oral)
    • Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams
    Key Responsibilities:
    • Contributes to research strategy within the product team
    • Responsible for conducting high-quality epidemiologic research to support product
    strategy within TA
    • Supports relationships with key leaders in epidemiology
    • Contributes to the setting of product-specific goals
    • Provide input into epidemiology product-specific meetings
    • Stays abreast of the latest developments in the field of epidemiology and drug
    development and contribution to the field
    • Promotes understanding and use of state-of-the-art epidemiologic methods
    • Communicate significant scientific information to a variety of audiences
