FUNCTION: Innovation

LOCATION: Cary, United States

JOB TYPE: Permanent

JOB GRADE: 6

GET TO KNOW YOUR AREA:

Own the regulatory management of supplemental distributor products in the US, ensuring every distributor registration, label, and state authorization is compliant, current, and commercially enabled. Serve as the regulatory advisor to the business and to distributor partners, turning federal and state requirements into a reliable, scalable process that protects the license to operate and unlocks channel revenue

YOUR MISSION WILL BE TO:

  • Own the supplemental distributor registration portfolio as assigned — establishing, maintaining, amending, and terminating distributor products in line with FIFRA requirements and commercial priorities.
  • Review and approve distributor labels, verifying alignment with the basic registered product and ensuring claims, use directions, and branding remain within the scope of the underlying registration.
  • Manage EPA notifications and distributor agreements, ensuring accurate company numbers, registration numbers, and documentation are filed and recorded before product enters the channel.
  • Act as the regulatory business partner to Commercial, Marketing, and the distributor channel, advising on feasibility, timelines, and constraints so channel launches land on schedule.
  • Serve as the regulatory point of contact for distributor partners, providing clear guidance on their obligations, label use, and compliance responsibilities.
  • Cascade changes from the basic registrations — label amendments, use cancellations, formulation or classification changes — across all affected distributor products, ensuring timely and complete implementation.
  • Maintain accurate registration records and documentation in the regulatory systems, ensuring data integrity, traceability, and audit readiness at federal and state level.
  • Monitor federal developments affecting supplemental distribution, providing early warning to the business on risks, restrictions, and opportunities.
  • Drive process efficiency and standardization across the distributor registration workflow, contributing to harmonization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

ARE YOU READY FOR THE ROLE?

Main requirements:

  • Degree preferred in health, physical, natural sciences or agriculture
  • Undergraduate plus 8+ years of experience, MS plus 6+ years of experience or PhD plus 2+ years of experience
  • Very broad knowledge of US pesticide regulation — FIFRA, supplemental distribution requirements, EPA label review, and state registration processes
  • Ability to work in a multi-functional environment and manage a high volume of registrations and deadlines in parallel
  • Ability to manage complex situations and good problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written), credible with regulatory authorities, distributor partners, and company leadership
  • Strong ownership mindset and detail oriented, with high standards for data accuracy and compliance
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Additional languages appreciated
