GET TO KNOW YOUR AREA:

  • Develop Product Strategy & Vision for assigned geography and segment including end-to-end product life cycle management
  • Ensure delivery of assigned portfolio’s financial targets, including EBITDA

YOUR MISSION WILL BE TO:

  • Lead the end-to-end development of selected products and ensure the achievement of growth and expansion plans and their financial targets (e.g., EBITDA)
  • Strong collaboration across Pricing, Portfolio Optimization, Supply, Innovation and Launch Coordinators to ensure targeted milestones and objectives are met
  • Lead the project teams by defining the deliverables, scope and business case for the project, reflecting the needs of stakeholders
  • Serve as product owner for selected products, guiding the decision-making process during project development and responsible for market knowledge, business cases, customer / product requirements, product positioning, S&OP, pricing and D&A targets within assigned area of responsibility
  • Collect, validate and evaluate relevant information from internal and external sources and develop plausible assumptions about future business trends and market opportunities
  • Build relationships with customers, thought leaders, trade associations, and industry players to facilitate engagement and actively participate/lead customer events, product & needs training
  • Monitor and communicate competitive activity and market trends and formulate strategic responses
  • Collaborate within the company to maintain continuous product improvement through market trend surveillance, competitor analyses, and study of product complaint trends
  • Accountable for collaborating with Marketing Activation (i.e. Campaign Managers and Launch Managers) to ensure products are introduced according to plans and processes
  • Serve as a market expert for assigned products, including on technical capabilities
  • Set portfolio performance targets, review effectiveness and optimize resource allocation according to set targets.
  • Utilize governance processes to ensure alignment with key stakeholders and procure required project funding

ARE YOU READY FOR THE ROLE?

Main requirements:

  • Academic degree in, e.g., business, science or agriculture
  • 5+ years' experience in product and portfolio management, marketing, business development, strategic business planning, in life-sciences or similar industries, MBA preferred
  • Excellent teamwork skills with proven ability to collaborate across multiple disciplines to ensure product success and ability to influence cross-functional teams
  • Strong financial skills paired with sound commercial understanding, excellent oral, written, and network communication skills
  • Interpersonal & leadership skills to ensure positive relationships with key internal/external stakeholders
  • Strategic, analytical and problem-solving skills that lead to innovative and timely decisions
