GET TO KNOW YOUR AREA:

  • The Marketing Finance manager acts as the financial advisor and strategic partner to the Marketing function. This role provides financial insight, performance analysis, and decision support to maximize the return on marketing investments, ensure effective resource allocation, and align marketing spending with overall business strategy. Finance BP bridges Finance and Marketing, enabling data-driven decisions and contributing to both top-line growth and bottom-line discipline.

YOUR MISSION WILL BE TO:

Business Partner:

  • Serve as the primary finance counterpart to the Marketing leadership team.
  • Build strong relationships with Marketing stakeholders, providing financial guidance on plans, forecasts, and investments.
  • Challenge and influence decision-making to ensure resources are deployed effectively.

Planning & Forecasting

  • Support Marketing in developing annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range plans.
  • Provide transparency on marketing spend and resource allocation across Segments and geographies.
  • Ensure alignment between Marketing budgets and corporate financial objectives.

Performance Management

  • Track and analyze marketing spend vs. budget, providing variance analysis and actionable insights.
  • Evaluate effectiveness of campaigns, investments using ROI and other performance metrics.
  • Monitor and support the Sub-Portfolio team using the sales reporting, P&L by Segment tools, enabling clear visibility of performance, profitability, and resource allocation across segments.
  • Identify risks, opportunities, and efficiency improvements in marketing OPEX.

Decision Support

  • Partner with Marketing teams and provide support on an ad-hoc basis (business cases for campaigns, product launches…)
  • Advise on trade-offs between short-term spend and long-term brand building.

Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure financial policies, controls, and compliance standards are adhered to within Marketing.
  • Drive accountability and transparency in financial reporting supporting the team using PowerBi as single point of truth. Train the team when necessary

ARE YOU READY FOR THE ROLE?

Main requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
  • 5–8+ years’ experience in Finance, with strong exposure to Marketing, Commercial, or FP&A roles.
  • Solid analytical and financial modeling skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex financials in a clear, simple way to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Strong influencing and partnering skills, with credibility to challenge senior leaders. Ability to work in an international, multi cultural environment
  • Experience in ROI measurement, OPEX management, and investment analysis preferred.
  • Proficiency with financial planning/reporting systems and data visualization tools.
