Codetta Bio is seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Field Service Engineer to support the installation, qualification, and maintenance of platform instrumentation. This role is critical to ensuring optimal installation, performance, and reliability of our systems at customer sites and internal facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background, hardware experience, and a passion for solving complex technical challenges.

Key Responsibilities

Installation & Qualification

• Execute IQ/OQ protocols at customer sites.

• Assess and verify site readiness (temperature, humidity, bench dimensions, power supply) prior to installation.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting

• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of instrumentation and peripherals.

• Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.

• Maintain detailed service records and documentation of deviations.

Documentation & Compliance

• Ensure all procedures comply with ISO 9001:2015 and GLP standards .

• Maintain accurate documentation of installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities.

Customer Interaction

• Serve as the primary technical contact during site visits.

• Provide training and guidance to customers and internal teams as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in field service or hardware engineering roles.

• Familiarity with microfluidic systems, thermocyclers, and imaging components is a plus .

• Experience working in regulated environments with quality systems.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to travel to customer sites as required.
