Who we are looking for
Purpose
Chiesi USA, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and intellectually curious Data Enablement Analyst with a strong background in Data Governance and system administration to join our Business Excellence Operations team. This role offers the opportunity to be a creative problem solver and strategic thinker, using data to uncover insights that drive real business impact. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and possess not only technical expertise but also the business acumen and analytical mindset to translate data into actionable strategies. This individual will play a crucial role in implementing and maintaining robust data governance frameworks, managing data quality, identifying trends and inefficiencies, and enabling cross-functional collaboration that supports data-driven decision making.

Main Responsibilities
Data Governance & Integrity
• Assist in the implementation of data governance frameworks, including metadata management, data lineage tracking, and data stewardship initiatives.
• Champion data integrity by ensuring adherence to policies, standards, and compliance requirements.
• Exhibit intellectual curiosity by identifying and investigating gaps in data processes or quality.
Data Quality Management
• Conduct audits and define business rules to proactively identify and resolve data quality issues.
• Develop validation procedures and use analytical reasoning to recommend data-driven improvements.
• Monitor data pipelines and autonomously troubleshoot inconsistencies using a logical, solution-oriented approach.
Data Analysis & Business Insight
• Extract and analyze operational data to identify trends, patterns, and KPIs supporting strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal partners to develop dashboards that clearly communicate insights to business users.
• Leverage business understanding to develop ad-hoc analyses that answer complex business questions.
Data Pipeline Management
• Document, monitor, and continuously improve data pipeline performance with a sense of ownership and accountability.
• Work with data engineers to ensure consistency, scalability, and alignment with business objectives.
• System Administration
• Administer and support data tools/platforms, maintaining documentation and metadata that empower user comprehension and system scalability.
• Stay up to date on emerging technologies, proactively proposing enhancements that can benefit the business.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Partner with Business Excellence, IT, and commercial teams to understand evolving data needs and translate them into scalable solutions.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills to bridge technical and non-technical teams.
• Engage with data scientists to co-develop analytics models and machine learning applications that influence strategic initiatives.
Ad Hoc Analysis & Continuous Improvement
• Drive efficiency by identifying automation opportunities, improving reporting processes, and enhancing overall data maturity.
• Apply a curious and consultative mindset to understand root causes and recommend improvements across domains.
Experience Required
Required
• Experience: 3–5 years in business systems analysis, data operations, or related fields; pharma industry preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with system admin, data warehousing tools (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks), and BI platforms. Skilled in SQL, Python, and/or R.
• Analytical & Critical Thinking: Proven ability to break down complex data and identify actionable insights.
• Statistical & Problem-Solving Abilities: Applies foundational statistical techniques and innovative thinking to drive solutions.
• Communication & Collaboration: Strong written/verbal skills; able to articulate data insights to various stakeholders.
• Business Acumen: Understands broader organizational goals and connects data initiatives to commercial outcomes.
• Project Management: Experience driving cross-functional initiatives from planning through execution.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with pharmaceutical compliance standards (GxP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, GDPR).
Preferred
• Familiarity with Veeva CRM/Vault, CDPs, marketing automation platforms, or Qualtrics.
• Certified in CRM, MDM, Data Governance, PMP, Agile, Lean Six Sigma, or ITIL.
• Experience with advanced visualizations and storytelling with data.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Data Management, or a related field.
