Cervu is a women’s health device startup that seeks to improve access to quality care for female cancer survivors living with dyspareunia (pain with sexual intercourse) and chronic pelvic pain. We are creating an at-home treatment system which combines an intravaginal pelvic floor physical therapy device with a paired mobile application to improve the therapy experience and outcomes.

We’re seeking a passionate Marketing Intern looking to gain hands-on health tech experience. Key responsibilities will be to boost our social media, build a supportive women’s pelvic health community, create empathetic content, drive engagement, and grow our audience.

Social Ignition

3-5 posts/wk on IG/TikTok/LI: stories, tips, #PelvicPowerChallenge

Canva visuals; analyze for 20-30% growth

Community Building

FB/IG/Discord groups; host AMAs to 500+ members

Empathetic engagement; #CervuStories campaign

We seek an individual who is as excited about our company’s mission and technology as we are. Candidates should have an interest in the life sciences and/or female health.

Candidates who will be a best fit for this role will have completed an MBA program recently or be nearing completion of their program. We greatly prefer someone interested in taking on a full-time position with salary and equity compensation either during the internship or upon graduation from their degree program.

To be a good fit for our team, eligible individuals must also be motivated and entrepreneurial. Because our team is small, each person ends up filling multiple roles within the company. This often requires us to work outside of our core skill sets and learn new skills. Adaptability and flexibility will be key attributes of successful applicants.

We anticipate continuing to work with the intern on a part-time basis at the conclusion of the Industrial Internship Program and hope to grow the role over time.

This program is funded through the North Carolina Biotechnology Center's Industrial Internship Program. IIP internships are designed to be spring/summer internships with specific dates/hours to be determined by company needs and candidate availability.
