Catalent's Greenville, N.C. facility specializes in end-to-end turn-key solutions for oral solid dosage forms, including integrated formulation development, analytical services, commercial manufacturing, and packaging. Logistics Technician I will support daily operations by maintaining a clean, organized, and compliant storage environment while ensuring accurate inventory control. The Logistics Technician I will work on inspecting shipments, performing logistics transactions, and operating material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.

Shifts: - Monday – Thursday; 1pm – 11om, Fridays; 12pm – 4 pm

This position is 100% on-site at the Greenville site.

The Role


  • Support site and departmental objectives by participating in project-based work, maintaining a clean and orderly facility, and organizing storage areas to ensure efficient use of space.
  • Conduct regular physical inventory counts, reconcile discrepancies, update inventory systems, and investigate inventory issues, reporting findings to management.
  • Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments, products, and samples for quality and damage, ensuring compliance with specifications and documentation; monitor product quality throughout processes and escalate concerns as needed.
  • Perform daily preventative maintenance on warehouse equipment, report repair needs, and handle logistics transactions, including shipping, receiving, storage, and distribution of materials in compliance with DOT/IATA regulations.
  • Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, assemble and maintain packaging materials, and assist with shipment coordination via client and logistics portals.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to support overall success and ensure all warehouse operations comply with applicable regulatory standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


The Candidate


  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Must have or be able to obtain certification in DOT/IATA regulations
  • Experience in a GMP environment preferred
  • At least one year of general warehouse experience (or) completion of the
  • Grads2Work Program or BioWorks certificate program required
  • Demonstrable experience in Catalent-sponsored programs may be considered in place of external experience
  • Experience with SAP or other WMS systems preferred
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to lift in excess of 50 lbs unassisted and operate machinery and tools, including pallet jacks and forklifts, with the majority of the workday performed while standing, walking, lifting, pulling, and pushing.
  • Ability to use hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations, as well as bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching, with some exposure to hazardous chemicals and active pharmaceutical ingredients.
