Catalent’s Greenville, N.C. facility specializes in end-to-end turn-key solutions for oral solid dosage forms, including integrated formulation development, analytical services, commercial manufacturing, and packaging. This state-of-the-art facility has had over $100M of investments in recent years and features fit-for-scale capacity with potent handling capabilities, ideal for orphan or targeted drug development.

The Product Development Coordinator will interface with all Pharmaceutical Development personnel. The Product Development Coordinator, is responsible for supporting technical operations including: batch record reviews, CTM packaging and shipping, inventory transactions and tracking, and overall

support of the production areas.

The Role

• Trace and track all inventory transactions, both clinical and development, for Pharmaceutical Development group.
• Review and sign off on executed batch record reviews, interfacing with manufacturing personnel and scientists.
• Ensure that Pharmaceutical Development Manufacturing areas are audit-ready at all times and prior to quality audits; assist audit teams with document retrievals.
• Function as the primary interface with clinical and development shipment requests and for scientific personnel.
• Assist in generation of batch records, shipping documentation, and clinical packaging and labeling.
• Facilitate ongoing communication with other internal support groups, including quality assurance, logistics, shipping/warehousing, analytical, raw materials, and manufacturing personnel.
• Assist Pharmaceutical Development personnel with any needed SOP revisions.
• Other duties as assigned.
  
  
  

The Candidate

• Bachelor’s degree in a life sciences discipline or engineering or;
• Associate degree in a life sciences discipline or engineering with at least 1 year of relevant pharmaceutical industry experience or;
• High school diploma or equivalent with at least 3 years of equivalent pharmaceutical industry experience.
• Experience in a Catalent role that is responsible for supporting technical operations may be substituted for 2 years of required experience.
• Some exposure to hazardous chemicals and other active chemical ingredients.
• Position requires the capacity to handle and manipulate objects using hands and arms.
• Ability to occasionally lift items up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to understand and work within Microsoft applications and system software.
