Boundless Science develops breakthrough engineering devices for society. We seek out intractable societal problems which have relied on similar technology and approaches for decades. Our early products are in healthcare, where we are developing novel blood oxygenation systems and a novel ventilator.
The intern will assist in the testing of Boundless' Heart and Lung Oxygenation system (HALO) and Clinical Oxygenation Booster to Remedy ARDS system (COBRA). These programs are funded through federal grants. The work will prepare Boundless for future add-on funding, including the next level of development to advance these products into commercialization.
Qualifications: Rising senior with biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering or chemical engineering GPA >3.5 is preferred Experience in making devices Strong work ethic and desire to create amazing medical devices designed to change the standard of care.
This program is funded through the North Carolina Biotechnology Center's Industrial Internship Program. IIP internships are designed to be spring/summer internships with specific dates/hours to be determined by company needs and candidate availability.
