The SAP Fiori Developer will handle end-to-end development of SAP Fiori applications for Bioventus. This role collaborates with the SAP platform team to analyze requirements and configure SAP solutions, focusing on Fiori development.

What you'll be doing:

• Design and develop SAP Fiori applications using SAPUI5, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and other relevant technologies.

• Customize and extend standard Fiori apps to meet specific business requirements, ensuring adherence to Fiori design principles and best practices.

• Work closely with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and mockups into functional and visually appealing Fiori interfaces.

• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate Fiori apps with SAP systems and other backend services via OData services or other APIs.

• Perform testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of Fiori applications to ensure quality and performance standards are met.

• Optimize Fiori apps for responsiveness, performance, and cross-browser compatibility.

• Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams on Fiori development best practices and methodologies.

• Stay updated on the latest SAP Fiori and SAPUI5 technologies, trends, and innovations, and apply them to improve Fiori development processes and solutions.

• Adapt to Agile development practices, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews.

• Collaborate with stakeholders across various functional areas to gather requirements, prioritize features, and deliver high-quality Fiori solutions that meet business needs.

• Hold oneself and others accountable to conduct business in a manner compliant with Bioventus’ Code of Compliance, policies and procedures and internal controls applicable to their role.

What you'll bring to the table:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent level of experience required.

• Plus a minimum of 6 years’ related experience. Or master’s degree and a minimum of 4 years’ related experience.

• Strong Coding/Programming skills per SAP Eclipse workbench standards and best practices.

• Minimum 8 years of experience in SAP ABAP/4 and at least 3 years in developing Fiori applications on S/4 HANA.

• Proven experience in SAP Fiori development, with a strong portfolio of Fiori apps developed.

• Proficiency in SAPUI5, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and related web technologies.

• Experience with SAP Fiori design principles, guidelines, and UX/UI best practices.

• Knowledge of SAP backend technologies and integration methods, including OData services.

• Familiarity with SAP development tools such as SAP Web IDE, SAP Fiori Elements, and SAP Gateway.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues and propose effective solutions.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

• Experience working in various phases of SAP projects per Activate methodology.
