Your Role at Baxter:
We are seeking an exceptionally experienced and skilled Core Team Leader to lead the delivery of a groundbreaking medical device product development project. This program includes multiple complex systems or subsystems. The successful candidate will act as the general manager for the program, coordinating the entire project lifecycle from concept to launch and ensuring delivery meets all business commitments. This role will be crucial in aligning all relevant cross-functional partners for success and confirming the project meets the agreed scope, timing, and budget.
What You'll Do:
- Lead cross-functional project teams, aligning engineering, marketing, supply chain, quality, regulatory, and other collaborators to achieve project objectives.
- Translate business and customer needs into project goals, strategies, and implementation plans that support company objectives.
- Drive alignment across multiple business units to deliver connected platform requirements and product development initiatives.
- Develop, maintain, and adapt project plans, ensuring ongoing alignment of team priorities, achievements, and deliverables.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks; manage issues, resolve conflicts, and implement contingency plans as needed.
- Ensure projects satisfy technical, quality, regulatory, and compliance standards while following corporate product development procedures.
- Manage project budgets, prioritization, and cost controls to ensure efficient execution and delivery.
- Communicate project status, progress, and key decisions to senior leadership and collaborators, building positive relationships to ensure successful outcomes and the happiness of interested parties.
What You'll Bring:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, science, or business
Minimum 5 years of experience in product development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
Proven experience in leading complex engineering projects with cross-functional teams.
Strong ability to convert business and customer needs into clear project objectives.
Outstanding skills in project management, risk assessment, and issue resolution.
Comprehensive understanding of technical, quality, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and resources efficiently.
Excellent communication skills to convey project status and key decisions to collaborators effectively.
A collaborative approach, driving alignment and successful implementation of project initiatives.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $152,000-$209,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
