What You’ll Do in This Role
As Manager, Emotional Engagement, you will lead initiatives that inspire and reinvest in our industry, strengthening both brand equity and community connection. This role is designed to ignite passion, foster meaningful relationships, and elevate the Atticus brand through strategic, values-driven engagement. You’ll be responsible for the full lifecycle of each initiative—from concept development and stakeholder alignment to execution, evaluation, and continuous improvement.
Success in this role requires exceptional organizational, project management, and communication skills. You’ll collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure each initiative reflects our commitment to the industry and the communities we serve. This position reports directly to the Sr. Director, Communications.
Qualifications - Characteristics - Experience
- Marketing Communications: Proven experience developing and executing integrated marketing communication strategies across multiple channels. Strong understanding of brand positioning, messaging frameworks, and audience segmentation to ensure consistent and targeted communication.
- Exceptional Communication Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, coordination, and interpersonal skills with the ability to deliver succinct statements with impact. Ability to translate complex ideas into clear, compelling content tailored to diverse audiences – internal and external.
- Project Management Excellence: Strong project management skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment to drive One Atticus results. Lead projects though ambiguity to results using strong interpersonal skills to keep teams and leaders well informed.
- Problem Solving Skills: Ability to break down complex issues into manageable components and identify root causes. Can generate fresh ideas and alternative solutions when faced with challenges based on the foundational strategies of marketing leadership teams.
- Adaptability: A flexible thinker that can adjust quickly in response to changing circumstances or unexpected obstacles. Receptive to new ideas, feedback and diverse perspectives and clear ability to consolidate information and drive toward action.
- Technical Proficiency: Expertise in Microsoft programs, specifically Power Point and Excel.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Event Planning: Demonstrated experience in event planning and execution through all phases from planning, execution to post-event evaluation. Must be proficient in creating detailed event timelines, coordinating schedules and managing logistics.
