Reports To: Shift Supervisor

OVERVIEW:

An Assembler is responsible for putting together component parts or pieces adhering to a specified set of blueprints or schematics. They verify the correct quantities of components parts and quality checking completed items, manage parts inventory and use hand tools and mechanical equipment to produce structurally sound products and structures.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Eartube Fabrication Operator

• Team environment overseeing machines as they execute tasks.
• Make necessary changes to machines to produce improved results.
• Identify any defective items and handle them according to established procedures.
• Record machine actions by completing daily production and quality logs.
• Work with others to ensure equipment is in proper working order.

Crimp & Stake Operator

• Fast paced assembly environment
• Use of machinery to assemble products.
• Identify any defective items and handle them according to established procedures.
• Record daily production and quality logs.
• Ability to lift at least 25 lbs

Binaural Assembly Operator

• Fast paced team & assembly environment
• Work with other members of the group to assemble products.
• Identify any defective items and handle them according to established procedures.
• Record daily production and quality logs.

Dip Line Operator

• Fast paced team environment - stripping dip molded parts off conveyor oven
• Cleaning & preparing materials required to meet production schedule.
• Identify any defective items and handle them according to established procedures.
• Record daily production and quality logs.

Training

The person must possess physical fitness, strength, and good reflexes. Also, the person must have good eyesight to identify depth, dimension, and color. Though these attributes cannot be termed as qualifications, they are essential qualities to look for in a potential Assembler.
